B.Sc Chemistry

Objective : 

The course aims in cherishing the young enterprising students with flexible plan to accomplish scientific goals. Chemistry, a unique course emphasizes the universal features concerned with chemical activities in any form. Every biological & non biological phenomenon in terms of chemical changes is explained at the chemical level.

The study of Chemistry helps to navigate the ocean of information of several doctrines like pharmacies, industries, analyzer, liquidification, etc. It's lucidly increasing scope will predominate all the fields with radiant developments.

Eligibility :

A candidate who has passed Higher Secondary Examination in biological science or Physical science under Higher Secondary Board of Examination, Tamilnadu or as per norms set by the Government of Tamilnadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate of Periyar university.

Duration :

The course for the degree of Bachelor of Chemistry consists of three academic years divided into six semesters.
