Objective :

1. To provide the basic and essential knowledge regarding various activities undertaken and necessary to run socially responsible business organization.
2. To impart certain basic skills and aptitude which will be useful in taking up any particular activity in a business.
3. To provide a global view of the several financial and other institutions and their function which support the business system.
4. To train the students in the application of computers in various business operation.
5. To develop the personality so as to become responsible citizen with greater awareness about the Indian society and its culture.

Eligibility :

Candidates seeking admission for the first year of the Degree of Bachelor of Commerce - Computer Applications, should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics or Business Statistics, Commerce (or) Accountancy as one of the subjects (or) an examination of any other university or authority accepted by the syndicate of Periyar University as equivalent thereto.

Duration :

The course for the degree of Bachelor of Commerce with Computer Applications  consists of three academic years divided into six semesters.
