Objective :

To provide the basic and essential knowledge necessary to run socially responsible business organization

To impart certain basic skills and aptitude that will be useful in developing entrepreneurship.

To provide a global view of the several financial and other institutions and their function which support the business system

To develop the personality so as to become a responsible citizen with greater awareness about the Indian Society and its culture.
Eligibility :
Candidates for admission for the first year of the Degree of Bachelor of Commerce Course should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Academic or Vocational stream) conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Commerce (or) Accountancy as one of the subjects or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate of Periyar University.
Duration :
The course for the degree of Bachelor of Commerce consists of three academic years divided into six semesters.
